Update on Victor Osimhen’s contract at Galatasaray

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has firmly shut down Victor Osimhen’s intense transfer speculations and the future of the striker at the club.

Despite persistent rumors linking the forward to prominent European clubs, Buruk insisted that Osimhen remains central to Galatasaray’s long-term objectives. Dismissing exit claims as entirely baseless, the coach expressed complete confidence that the Nigerian star will stay put with the reigning Turkish champions.

Ever since Osimhen’s landmark arrival, Buruk has routinely lauded his contributions, famously labeling him a “dream signing” while emphasizing that his value extends far beyond the scoresheet.

“No such issue has come to us. There is nothing at the moment. Hopefully, he will continue his path at Galatasaray.”

Buruk maintains that Osimhen’s leadership, tireless work rate, and dressing-room influence have been fundamental catalysts for the club’s recent domestic and continental success. Even with Europe’s elite looming, Galatasaray remains entirely resolute in their stance to keep their talisman.

Osimhen’s position with the Turkish giants is further secured by a long-term contract following his historic, record-breaking €75 million permanent transfer from SSC Napoli.

Victor Osimhen’s Goal-Scoring Record at Galatasaray

Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen has maintained an elite goalscoring record in Turkey. He cemented himself as a club icon by becoming the fastest player in Galatasaray history to hit the 50-goal milestone, needing just 59 matches to do so.
