WAEC Timetable for May/June 2026 SSCE

Notice is hereby given that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has published the final timetable schedule for the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

The examination period will commence on April 21, 2026, and conclude on June 19, 2026. Please refer to the detailed waec timetable provided below for specific subject dates.

May/June 2026 SSCE WAEC Timetable

For candidates in Nigeria only.

Key Examination Guidelines

1. Time Discrepancies: If the duration on the question paper differs from the official timetable, always follow the time listed on the question paper.

2. Visual Art 3 Preparations:

  • Paper 3A: Schools will receive instructions two weeks in advance.
  • Paper 3B: Candidates will receive the question paper two weeks early.
  • Paper 3C: This project must be completed within six months of the exam year. Submission dates will be announced by the Council.

3. Special Accommodations: Candidates who are blind, deaf, or dumb are entitled to 50% extra time (1.5x the standard duration).
