JAMB commenced change of course and institution for 2026

The 2026 JAMB change of course and institution process has officially begun. Candidates looking to modify their choices or correct their bio-data can now do so at any accredited CBT centre or official JAMB office.

Before proceeding, we strongly advise making sure that a change is absolutely necessary. If you are ready to make the switch, follow the guide below:

Step-by-Step Guide for JAMB change of course and institution

  • Visit an Accredited CBT Centre: Go to any JAMB-approved centre and bring along your original registration slip.
  • Request Data Correction: Inform the attendant that you want to perform a “Change of Institution” or “Change of Course.”
  • Make Payment: The official JAMB fee is ₦2,500, plus a CBT service charge (typically between ₦700 and ₦1,000).
  • Update Your Data: Provide the operator with your new choices (First, Second, Third, or Fourth choice).
  • Biometric Verification: You must complete a fingerprint scan to authorize the changes.
  • Print Your Confirmation Slip: Make sure to collect your new Change of Data Slip before leaving the centre.

⚠️ Crucial Advice: Before making any changes, double-check that you meet the specific admission requirements of your new chosen course and institution. You can verify this using the Myschool JAMB brochure.
