Mikel Arteta address Eberechi Eze’s status at Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has addressed the growing conversation surrounding Eberechi Eze’s status in the squad, offering clarity on the midfielder’s recent playing time and overall contributions.

Arteta was firm in stating that Eze’s fluctuating minutes are the result of strategic shifts rather than a dip in form. Speculation intensified after the Spaniard hooked the playmaker at halftime during the Gunners’ 1-1 stalemate with Brentford, leaving fans questioning the move.

The manager was quick to dispel any rumors of a rift or injury, explaining that the early substitution was a calculated tactical adjustment.
