He has reportedly presented the club with a specific list of demands that must be met before he agrees to return to competitive play.

If these conditions are ignored, Ronaldo is prepared to remain sidelined until the end of the season before seeking an early exit, despite having a year left on his contract. His primary requirement is a guaranteed level of autonomy for the club’s executives regarding transfer market strategy.

Is Ronaldo’s future at Al-Nassr certain?

Without these assurances for the future, a departure seems inevitable. Notably, the player’s release clause is set to drop to €50M in the upcoming transfer window, making a potential move increasingly accessible for interested suitors.

The tension has even spilled into the streets of Saudi Arabia, where mock “missing person” posters have surfaced. These notices mock his absence from matches with a provocative caption: “This is a forty-year-old who is going through the obligation of excessive crying, and his family is looking for him.”

While inquiries have reportedly arrived from both the MLS and Europe, there has been no official confirmation from either side regarding the next steps for the former Real Madrid and Manchester United veteran.
